And We Are Off – 30DC
The thirty day challenge has begun (well, an hour ago, actually) and I’ve just finished the first two videos.
They were excellent and to the point.
This is what I like about the thirty day challenge – succinct and no fluff.
Exactly how I intend to keep these posts (although, with my habit of rambling that might not be too easy – see what I mean?).
The magnificent symphony of four
- Market research – Find out if there’s a market. No point in pursuing something which has no audience. Does the market actually want to buy what they’re interested in? You don’t want a market where all they’re after is free information.
- Traffic – You can have the best product in the world but, if no one comes to see it, what’s the use?
- Conversion – So you get thousands of visitors but no one buys what you have. Where’s the fun in that?
- Product – Okay, so now you have the traffic and a hoard of rabid buyers. They get to your site and find… nothing… there’s nothing for them to buy. Uh, oh. So how do you make a product? Ask your market what they want and give it to them.
Obviously, all these will be explained further as we go along, so don’t fret and start wondering how you’re going to do all this stuff.
I want to keep in line with how they do things in the 30DC so I won’t veer away from their methodology.
For this next month, they’re the teachers and I’m just a newbie student.
This is a blueprint for me as much as it is for you.
